Any of these routes can start at Anderson Park, enjoying lunch before or after a ride or can start at a trailhead with lunch in the middle "at the turn" except for the Vernonia Lake loop. And of course, the Vernonia Lake loop can be added to any of the other routes!

We've provided some approximate travel times below - keep in mind that individual pace will vary and you will want to include plenty of time for hydration breaks and to enjoy the Oregon scenery!

Routes from shortest to longest:


1) Vernonia Lake loop: Park for free at the American Legion lot (627 Adams Ave Vernonia, OR)! Enjoy a delicious lunch with your PRO friends and then take a leisurely ride around the lake. Stop to feed the ducks, bring your fishing pole to cast off the dock, or just relax on one of several benches to enjoy the serene atmosphere of nature!
2.7 miles round trip. (approximately 13 minutes round trip)

2) Beaver Creek Trailhead to Anderson Park: Nice ride alongside Hwy 47 past some nice homes.

3) Tophill Trailhead to Anderson Park: Nice ride alongside Hwy 47 with a mixture of countryside and past some nice homes. You will need to cross Hwy 47 at grade next to the parking lot.

4) Buxton Trailhead to Anderson Park: Nice ride alongside Hwy 47 with a mixture of forest, countryside and past some nice homes. This is near the beginning of the long, slow 3.8% grade climb to Tophill. It's all smiles on the ride back! You will need to cross Hwy 47 at grade next to the Tophill parking lot.

5) Manning Trailhead to Anderson Park: Nice ride alongside Hwy 47 with a mixture of pasture, forest, countryside and past some nice homes. This is in the middle of pastureland near a Cricket/Baseball field before the long, slow 3.8% grade climb to Tophill. It's all smiles on the ride back! You will need to cross Hwy 47 at grade next to the Tophill parking lot.

6) Banks Trailhead to Anderson Park: This is the North end of the City of Banks. Nice ride alongside Hwy 47 with a mixture of pasture, forest, countryside and past some nice homes. You'll cross pastureland, pass by a Cricket/Baseball field before the long, slow 3.8% grade climb to Tophill. It's all smiles on the ride back! You will need to cross Hwy 47 at grade next to the Tophill parking lot. (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes one-way)
