As many of you know, I have been involved with Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon and their annual fundraising and awareness walk since being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease myself. SOLE SUPPORT raises nearly 1/3 of the funds needed to provide education, support, wellness classes, and social services that directly support individuals and families — LIKE MINE — living with Parkinson’s Disease. If you'd like to see all that they do, please visit their main website: http://www.parkinsonsresources.org/" data-feathr-click-track="true">www.parkinsonsresources.org
Due to the pandemic these last couple years, I haven’t done my part in helping raise awareness, or MONEY, to support our local Parkinson’s community. And, they really need it.
So, this year, SHANNON'S SHAKEDOWN for PRO is shaking things up!
Instead of sending multiple emails, reminders, and downright threats to prompt you to donate to this year’s Sole Support fundraiser… THIS IS IT.
Call it a DONATION BLITZ. I’ll only be asking this once. So, don't put it off. Decide today to help support PRO in their efforts to support our LOCAL PARKINSON'S COMMUNITY.
I’ve set a team goal of $10,000. It’s lofty. But, I know we can do it! And, I sincerely THANK YOU for your GENEROUS support! (If you'd rather make a donation by phone, please call 800.426.6806). Your donation is 100% tax-deductible and you will be issued a receipt via email.

The VANCOUVER walk is Saturday September 24th at Esther Short Park. Unfortunately, I will not be there to walk this year. But, feel free to join the others showing their support!
